Last updated: June 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Devotus, including our website, mobile applications, and related services. Devotus is operated by Adam Reece Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Devotus, you agree to these Terms.
Use of Devotus
You may use Devotus only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use Devotus in a way that could harm other users, the service, or our systems.
Accounts
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscriptions and Payments
Devotus may offer paid subscriptions, free trials, or other paid features. Subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be handled by the applicable app store or payment provider. Their terms and policies may apply in addition to these Terms.
Content and Intellectual Property
Devotus and its original text, design, software, branding, and other materials are owned by Adam Reece Studios LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Devotus except as expressly permitted by us or applicable law.
Scripture, hymns, catechisms, and other source materials may be provided under their own licenses or public-domain status where applicable. Devotus is not a substitute for Scripture, pastoral counsel, or the ministry of a local church.
User Content and Feedback
If you submit feedback, suggestions, support messages, or other content to us, you grant us permission to use that content to operate, improve, and support Devotus without obligation to compensate you.
Third-Party Services
Devotus may integrate with third-party services such as app stores, authentication providers, payment processors, analytics providers, or hosting services. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. By using Devotus, you acknowledge the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Devotus is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adam Reece Studios LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of Devotus.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify or discontinue parts of Devotus at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice when appropriate. Continued use of Devotus after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Devotus if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if required by law. You may stop using Devotus at any time.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the state where Adam Reece Studios LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
